    today I used my;
    Gold Dollar 5/8 full hollow round end.
    three passes and touch up. no de help. I'm pretty smooth and comfy enough that the vi bay rum didn't feel like liquid napalm.

    I don't know that I've ever used this razor. It is one of the first ones I scavenged years ago from junk shops. Last night I noticed it had chips on the blade edge. I used a DMT and Naniwa 1K to fix the edge and after having a lot of trouble establishing a bevel on the Naniwa, I used lapping film to great success.

    I haven't posted here in a while, as I haven't used a straight in several months. Hopefully, I will dedicate some time to them for a little bit.

    homemade/Shavemac pure knot

    Just like downtown this morning. I'm absolutely crazy about this pure knot. It just tickles me in all the right spots. No, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. I'll do another DO1 in a silver tip bulb later in a 25 or 26mm bulb. Have a good one.

    Good ol' Michael Price. Nice, nimble little straight, and the Irish point is great for detailing. Really like this old guy. The new boar knot in the Bushcraft brush is beginning to bloom. Splendid Days.

    Yes, indeed. I love the Japanese straights and Tamahagane steel. I've been wanting an Iwasaki for a while.

    WHOOP WHOOP! :happy036:

    I didn't want to let any cats out of the bag, but the tamahagane Iwasaki got an excellent, excellent home. I couldn't be more pleased :happy108:.
