Catchup on my last two shaves. I am turning into a Catt person. (Cattaraugus, that is.)

    today I used
Dovo 98 Pearlex 5/8 full hollow round end

I slowed my roll a bit. I was rewarded with a nice comfy close shave.
I've got one spot on my neck that's difficult to reach with a straight.
inability to stretch the skin is the cause. today I took my time and concentrated on form.

    well that was different
today I used a new to me razor.
Wostenholm Celebrated IXL 9/16 medium hollow barber's notch
it came in not shave ready.
after some reading and practice on another razor, this razor went to the pyramids.(10 down on 4k/8k) add a few laps on apache strata. 60 laps bench strop. 20 on Adam's custom before shave.
wow talk about a man's razor. no distracting sound of whiskers being cut. no feeling of soft forgiving edge. this is a sharp, heavy little piece of steel. it took a little bit to get used to it.
four passes to get everything smooth, and I ended very smooth. maybe a couple weepers under my chin.
    definitely requires ones attention.
    have a great day.

Brushcraft handle with a FS 26mm knot set deep
wonderful shave today but had to add crème to the soap to get it slick and thick
