I get a great shave every time I use this Genco. They aren't very sought after, flashy, or expensive, but I really like this razor. Rosewood scales with an aluminum wedge.

 

Good ol' Iwasaki Swedish carbon steel.

I had a Smooth Comfortable WTG & ATG Pass Shave with My Hamilton 6/8th..Gave myself a bit of a Hair line Smile just under my chin when I gave it a bit too much Torque..This is the only Swedish made blade that I have it sure feels different..Very Manoeuvrable this Razor & very easy to get carried away with it..I am Smooth & Refreshed..

I figured I'd post this on this subforum because it's where I spend most of my time. My knee is coming along good, 4 weeks off and I'm back at work without the use of any pain killers. I know I owe some of you some stuff and hope to get back in the shop soon. The bad news is I'm computerless right now which I hope to take care of this weekend (waiting for payday). Our big cat Lew took care of my lap top he managed to knock it off the table and it's history. Here is a pic of the last handle I made with a Thater knot the night before my surgery. The 23mm knot in the original handle was set at 58mm and had a listed height of 52mm. 58mm was not to my liking. I shaved once while in the hospital and had just about every nurse on the floor watching me, lol. Have a good one. I'll be back this weekend hopefully on a daily basis.
