Hans Baier Silver Tip
Haslinger Tallow Soap
Logona Mann Balm

I had My 2nd Shave Today with My Thiers-Issard 7/8th..This is One of these So Called New Carbonsong Blades..I bought this NOS & the Seller Said it had Been Purchased from Invisible Edge in the UK & had been Honed by the same Vendor..I can see the Razor has been Honed but I Tweaked it on 3 Micron & 1 Micron Lapping Film because I wasn't Happy with it on My 1st Outing..

These SRs Don't Sing..Its a Very Quiet SR & it Sure Shaves Different from any Vintage SR that I have..That's for Sure..A Nice BBS Result & Dolphin Smooth.

For all it looks the Part..I Reckon I Prefer My Chinese Gold Dollar..

Around 6 Hours Later I am Just About Still Dolphin Smooth..I Guess this SR is Gonna Take a Moment to Getting Used to the Feel of It..It Sure as Hell Performs..

I picked up 3 hones at a flea market yesterday. Experiment #1 won't work as a finisher but will fit in a progression someplace. The OSP is a decent soap but I don't pick up any sandalwood scent. Just smells like soap to me. I've been using badger brushes just about exclusively since my knee surgery (Feb) but darn it I sure enjoy a good boar. I picked up a new computer so hopefully I can start posting some pics again. Have a good one.

I had an Evening Shave with My C.V Heljestrand 5/8th..I am Getting to Like these Swede Steel Blades..A Real Fine Bevel on this SR & it Shaves like a Laser..A DFS on the 1st Pass & BBS on the 2nd..I am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..

I used the Engstrom frameback today and got DFS! It's beginning to tug a bit, so I'll try running it over my Chinese natural stone for a quick touch up.
