J West frame back
I was loaned a restored WH Compton after quizzing a friend at the cigar shop Saturday and I gave it a spin today. All I can say is wow! I was only going to do my cheeks but it went so well I did my whole face I'm impressed!

This is the best page on the whole Internet! I want 1 of everything.. by the way, am I the only one who keeps looking thru these razors daily?
I think all of us SR users hit this thread on a daily basis. It's probably the best thread on this forum.
Aren't all of these SRs so nice?
SOTD: First shave with this restored Solingen-made 'Barrilito 66' razor from Daniel Peres Co. "El Rey de Los Barberos" 13/16" round point; Keen, smooth & noisy shave from this full-hollow razor.

This page has cost me a lot of money. There is a lot of temptation in these photos.

This thread is a big part of what got me into straight razor shaving.
Shave 15. The past 5 shaves have been with the Weltmeister 265 so I thought I'd try out the ERN 1934. Nope, need to stick with the Weltmeister longer, not ready for it yet. Sub-par reduction but at least the alum was pretty quiet after 4 passes.

Same here! This thread is sole reason why I'm using SR razors today. The amount of knowledge and encouragement is amazing!
Another great shave. So far, this razor performs as well as my Wade & Butcher. Smooth, sharp, close shave, with little noise. No cuts, nicks, or weepers.
Razor- The Gong
Soap- Mickey Lee Soapworks- Ruby's Green. Lathers well and smells good. Thanks @Jorvaljr
Brush- Vie Long Horsehair. Soft.
Aftershave- Yardley Gold. Fantastic sandalwood smell.
That's what I told Glen Mercurio after I started this thread, that it would start more people interested in straights and more threads about straights. I got interested after seeing great photos on theshavingroom.co.uk by a Swedish photographer.
Ahhh...I remember that one Kev.
Is it a keeper?...please say no...please say no.
That is a beauty Kevin.
