    Soap- Stirling Spice
    Brush- Semogue 1800 boar hair.

    Two Pass Shaving Routine...

Hot Water prep & massage with Argan Oil
Southern & Richardson Swiftsure Sheffield Full Hollow 6/8th (Freshly Honed)
    Hans Baier Silver Tip
Wickham 1912 Un Scented Vegetal Soap
    Logona Mann Balm

I Got this Cast Steel SR Yesterday & I Worked on it for Most of the Day to Bring Some Life Back into It..I Got it for £9.oo English to My Door..It Came in a Southern & Richardson Coffin Box but it has WP Cooper High Street Deptford on the Tang..W P Cooper Didn't make this SR that's for Sure..;)

Deptford is in London & According to My Research WP Cooper was a Prestige's Cutler Agent for more than One Company & his Name appeared on Early Bengal SRs as Well..As far as I can Gather this SR would have been Made Around the Turn of the 19oos..Not Sure Mind..:)

A Wee Bit of Old Soldiers Spit n Polish & I Honed Her Up & Shaved with Her this Morning with this Wickham 1912 Vegetal Soap that the Maker Darron Kindly Sent Me to Try Free of Charge..I am a Tallow Man & this Wickam 1912 is Just about Up there with Some Tallow Soaps..I Like it a Lot..The Post Shave is Amazing..The Swiftsure took a Very Wicked Edge & Sure Feels Different to Later Full Hollow Grinds..The Blade is Very Rigid but it Sang Like a Canary & Performed Very Well..:D

The Bugger Dug in & Gave Me an Initiation Cut on the Jaw..It was One of those..Awe Naw Jobs..:happy102:

    I am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..:eatdrink047:

Here is what I used. It was my Great Uncles straight. I did 2 passes the did my third pass with the Schick G4. Finished with a DFS.
I have a long road ahead of me with straights. I can only use my Left hand. I am left handed so my right does now want to cooperate with me.

I only have one functional hand, im sure you can get it done. I dont know of anything that has taught me more than learning sr razor shaving. The feel of the blade teaches a softness of hand like nothing else. Have fun, its very addictive.

Hi Tom, glad to see you over here on the dark side. It sounds like you did great for your first shave. I am right handed and thought I would never be able to use my left to shave with but.... over time and with practice and now I use both hands no problem. I also used a DE to finish my shaves and only went as far as I was comfortable with the straight.

I used a CJB shavette without a blade to practice with and develop the muscle memory in my off hand.

Nice start! With practice you should be able to train your other hand. I started out just using my weak hand on the cheek. I'm no using both hands freely. You can do it
