I ran the Charles Adam over my Cnat last night and had a wonderful shave this morning. 2 1/2 passes left me smooth as silk!

I'm almost done with my Stirling glacial lemon chill and my store brand menthol aftershave. It about time to go into autumn mode.

Shave 23. Really close shave - worthy of some face rubbing - but more burn on the Alum than I'd like. Still focused on first pass reduction and on experimenting in the difficult spots. Finding some new tricks and nuances that are making a difference in those areas.

Today I used my other razor a Boker Pearl. I had a nice 2 pass shave with a light 3rd on my neck ATG. I did this just to see if I could. It worked out fine. My next shave I will incorporate that into my second pass. I plan my on only doing a 2 pass with my straights, for the foreseeable future. My offhand is not feeling so stupid today.

A quick shave today. AAAnd I nicked myself. It was a raised bump anyway, well, it use to be. Nice close 2 pass shave. Very comfortable and smooth shave.

M.J.HIGGINS 5/8 half hollow spike Great shave with this old piece of English steel.
Any info about age or origin would be greatly appreciated.

 

I used my JW Engles razor. 2 1/2 passes is all it took for a wonderfully comfortable and close shave!

 

I just googled MJ Higgins and I did not have much luck in obtaining any information. Through my Google search, I see that other people wanted information on the razor, but nobody seems to have many answers. One thing For certain is that it's well liked by their owners.
