Todays shave was with a Vintage French Rattler razor. The shave was silky smooth, with absolutely no problems. It was a two pass shave, one WTG and one ATG. Not pulling at all, just smoothness.
The blade was quieter than I thought it would be, considering it's supposed to be very noisy. It was quieter than my Hollow Ground razors.

Razor- LEON PELLERAY A PARIS 17 Bis. Bone scales
    Brush- Zenith Boar
    Soap- Stirling Barbershop

Shave 37. Amazing shave - best SR shave yet without a doubt. Having gotten a batch of razors back from a honing by Glen (@gssixgun) I quickly found the Paketa (Rocket) to see what these Russian shaves were really like. In my haste I forgot to use PSO which always helps keep my skin supple and less prone to cuts. No matter, the edge on this baby was so sharp and forgiving that there were no cuts and I had two passes worth of reduction after the first pass. I could hardly believe how smooth my face was. I went for all three passes just because. It was that easy and enjoyable. :happy036:

I also want to put in a good word for the Haslinger Honig Shave Soap. I already knew it would produce excellent lather but the light scent of honey was a welcome treat. Good stuff. :happy088:

Tonights shave was with a nice big Japanese Razor. I did a two pass shave, and no touch ups needed. Super smooth results. Only drawback was that I now have less of a mole, under my jawline, than I had before. I didn't even feel it, and only noticed when my shaving cream turned red. That will teach that little brown thing to stick around, when Straight Razors are at work.

    Brush- Semogue 1305 Boar

Shave 38. Another excellent shave from the Paketa (Rocket) in it's encore performance today. There are a handful of really fine razors that are waiting but the Paketa shave on Monday was so good I had to try it again. Da, is Glorious, Comrades. :happy093:

Tonights shave was with an old Japanese razor. It was a two pass shave that would have been better, if I had just left the touchups alone. Slight cut on the chin, but still smooth results.
