Thank you - I'm with you - the shoulderless look and notch have such great lines - like the recent score @twhite found in the wild with that Verinder St. Pauls. The fine jimps on mine have a great feel to them that adds another element of pleasure. You can make them out in the picture if you look closely or expand it. Really nice workmanship.

 

Tonight's shave was with a nice razor that I just touched up, with an Arkansas Surgical Black stone. Super smooth 2 pass shave. BBS results, without issues.

Razor- G.M.Mayer "Blue Steel".
Brush- Unknown Vintage Boar. My little mighty mite. It's small, but it lathers better than my bigger boars.
Soap- ARKO/Sandalwood scented
Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

today i used the Burell top flight 11/16. super smooth and scary sharp.
the Fine snake bite soap and aftershave gave an intense face freeze

Today's shave was with an old Stub Tail Wedge, freshly restored and honed. It gave a wonderful, and silent, 2 pass shave. I didn't expect a great shave, from a blade around 200 years old. Smooth results.

Razor- W.Greaves & Sons Stub Tail 1815-1835
Brush- Semogue 1800
Soap- ARKO/Sandalwood
Aftershave- Pinaud Special Reserve(I'm Trying to sneak this one past the wife). Very strong scent.

 

Second shave with this old stubtail wedge. Three passes ( I had excess lather) of smooth obliterated wishers. BBS dolphin skin all topped off appropriately with the Veg
