What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

This old Greaves wedge is a nice change of pace. Last time I used it I thought it needed a little steeper angle to get really close. This time I'm finding an even flatter angle seems to bring out the best in it.

Thanks - they are faux tortoise. This is a restore job done by the Bacon Lord. I got it on eBay a year or so ago but didn't know it was one of his. They are stunning and pair well with the blade.

Karl, I find that a shallow angle with my old wedge really gives the closest shave. I almost lay the blade flat in certain areas.

 

Tonight's shave was with a pretty looking German razor. It was a SB Arkie touch up. I had a 2 pass shave, with smooth results.

It's one of my favorite aftershaves and I used up the last few drops of it today.

My wife likes the scent of it so much that she went out and bought me another bottle of it yesterday.

Now if I could just get her to buy me some razors...
