What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

I'm assuming you wear those to highlight your calves when wearing the kilt.

 

This Japanese blade has been giving me good shaves for a while, but not excellent shaves. I will fix it. The last time I honed it, I remember the steel was super hard, and thick. So, I will put it to the stones again. Or, hit the pasted strop a little, then strop the snot out of it on the leather. I had a 2 pass DFS, with zero issues. It's too interesting to just leave as a second string razor.

Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

 

Following the lead of Karl the trend setter: Wedge-day's shave was with an old stubby. Slicker than a snotty doorknob....

 

Koraat 8/8 for Wedge Day I hope this qualify s since it is a near wedge grind .

Not very color coordinated but a fine shave this morning. I finished the Wusthof on a black arkie that I've been flattening for about a week now, very comfortable edge. Have a good one.

Tonight's shave was with a fantastic Japanese Razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave. BBS results, with only a touchup under thee chin. Baby Dolphin Butt Smooth(BDBS). This a very nicely made razor. I love that Japanese steel, Super Hard, and takes a wicked edge. As @HolyRollah might say: HHT-5.

Only if the hair literally drops off the blade with no resistance and silently. Some resistance or pluck: HHT3-4—which is more than sufficient.
Splits atoms: HHT6....

 

Quick two pass and and smoother than a dolphins booty

 

I guess it would be a "HHT-Chuck Norris" then. Because, the hair just looked at the blade, knew it was licked, and split in half, before even touching the blade.
