Nice old ivory handled razor that gave a great shave today.

Worcester 11/16….a very decent shaver, but I noticed the blade was a bit loose. Time for some peening. ;)

Both very nice. I've never seen the W&B with the bow. Does that tell you what decades the razor was made?

Like the Filarmonica, this razor was made in Barcelona, Spain. I've been coveting this razor for a long time. You seldom see these sold on forums or ebay or even posted in SOTD.

My straight razor club buddy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina was selling off larger razors he doesn't use much to fund buying more Thiers-Issard razors. I stopped at buying just 2 of the razors he offered. The other will appear in the posts tomorrow. Maybe I can stop buying razors now.

No exact dating information that I could pin down. You begin to see them in the latter half of the 19th century and around into the early 20th.
Here's an ad from that era…two of the 3 with the 'English Longbow' icon on the tang.

You guys are nerds. This reminds me of a joke, since I'm a nerd too...

Two hydrogen atoms are walking down the street. One says, "Hey! I think I lost an electron!" The other says, "Are you sure?" The first one says "Yeah, I'm positive!"
