This is the razor I learned to straight shave with. I haven't used it in a while and it's homecoming was sharp and smooth. :happy036:

Tonight's shave was with an Old razor, that I just restored and honed. I dont know anything about it, other than it's a "Warranted" Stubtail, and it's a full on wedge. It took a sharp edge, and I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Better than I expected.

Tonight's shave was with a freshly restored and honed "Covered Tang". I had a super smooth 2 pass shave. Like cutting through warm butter, with a hot knife. This left me BDBS, without issues. Very precise, light, and well built razor.

That is one cool razor, Scott. I came really close to having one, but somebody was willing to pay more than I was.

Thanks. It only cost $7.99, and some elbow grease. It was a little bit of a fixer upper.
It's a very light razor, due to the tang being Celluloid.

Had a very smooth shave tonight. I am working on getting Williams to work for me. I had no disappearing lather tonight. Anyhow this razor was smooth as silk. Love the Arkie finishes.

I have come to the conclusion that I can get a better shave with my SE and injectors. My neck just is too crazy to get a super close shave with my straights. I am ok with that.

I love all of the hardware I have now. So I plan on using them all.

Used the 8/8 Koraat this morning. The more I use this razor the more I like it . I appreciate its weight and balance .Removes whiskers with no effort .Yet easy to use for its size .
