In the wee hours at the end of the day I have been know to make a bid or two for his razors. I need to do some den clearing then I will get serious.

The Kropp got the call today. Normally this is one of my favorites. The finish was really smooth and close but it made me work for it far more than what I'd have liked. Then again, anything that follows my 1941 Russian has a high bar to compete with.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #119 brush. I did the two passes with the H. Böker 5/8 straight and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I used my Genco "Red Cross" razor this morning. It was a three pass shave that I could have ended after the second pass. It was a BBS shave all around!

I have three Genco/Geneva razors and can't say enough good things about them. They're well balanced, have great steel that hold wicked edges and they're dirt cheap! What's not to like?

Another excellent shave with this razor. I found a half a stick of Volcans stashed away in some shaving stuff. I really like this soap. I get very good results from this soap. Have a good one.

Today's shave was with a reliable German Razor. I had a fantastically smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This is a well built and great shaving razor.

Today I used the first straight razor I ever bought. It's my no name Solingen razor. I was in a hurry this morning and did two quick passes. It was a DFS all around.
