What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

SSA From Eskiltuna Sweden 6/8 .All I can say is wow.This Razor is one sweet shaver .All she needed was a quick refresh on an Escher and Trans. Arkie .Edge came out extremely keen and smooth . I think she wants to earn a place in my rotation .

 

Thanks so much, this was the maiden voyage for both the strop and the razor! It was a very nice shave and I really enjoyed stropping with my new Tony Miller.

Vodka is a great aftershave! Seriously though, Russia has some great shaving creams and aftershaves!

 

Tonight's shave was with a Japanese Razor. I had an ultra smooth, 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero Issues.

Razor- Japanese "Feon 172".
Brush- B400 By Tom
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Old Spice Nautical Collection.

 

Yesterday's "Straight Razor Sunday" shave was with my Joseph Rodgers Cutler to his Majesty.

30DC brush and Stirling on tap as usual.

Still figuring out the straight razor. Guess I must have gotten a little complacent and cut myself twice, not nicked but cut..wha wha whaaaaaaa.... I finished the first pass with my Aristocrat to give myself a break then went back to the straight for XTG and managed not to remove anymore skin

Thinking I will be spending time watchijg some more straight and stropping videos to make sure I keep this baby performing at its best.

Videos, baaaa. You just need to use the straights everyday, and the shaves will just click, in no time.

 

I suck with my left hand..... I cut myself trying to do left side of my face from ear to gottee and it skipped or something and I sliced beside my upper and lower lip. Didnt really hurt until I tried to get it to stop bleeding which it did a lot of.

I suck with my left hand too, that's why I'm a one handed shaver. Many here use only one hand. Whatever it takes to get the job done. Sure, it looks cool, to use both hands shaving. But blood mixed with shave lather looks cool too, so close to Halloween.

 

Ooooh she is shiney and pretty.
