I bought this razor years ago for $10. It had severely warped vulcanized rubber scales on it but the blade was minty. It's a great shaving hardware company razor. It was touched up and finished on a Celebrated Water Razor Hone (Thuringian). Have a good one.

 

Tonight's shave was with a freshly honed razor. I had a nice 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero issues.

Challenge Cutlery 6/8. Smooth three pass shave. This razor behaved much the same as my Griffon. Took several attempts at the hones to get dialed in.

 

Took this back and re-honed, starting at 4K. Finished off with the Arkie, and got her dialed in. Ultra smooth shave, complete with the fools pass

SRD? LOL, those are hard to find in good shape... My SRD Blue Diamond is very well put together and gives a superb shave!

This will be my first shave with the wedge. It was made shave ready by Scott, AKA @DaltonGang . Stay tuned or check back for the results.

Now that OCtober is over, I am not using a second razor for touch ups on Straights Saturday. Today's shave was done only with the Joseph Elliot. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #235 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Joseph Elliot Wedge and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I used my AW Wadsworth this morning and had a nice 3 pass shave. I refreshed the edge last night by using my Naniwa 8k and 12k stones.

 

I agree. This is a sweet razor.

New (to me) Hart Steel...

 

How was the shave from the Hart ?

 

Tonight's shave was perfect. It was with a freshly honed and acquired razor. I had a buttery smooth 2 pass shave, that left me Baby Dolphin Butt Smooth(BDBS). Zero Issues. A beauty of an American Razor.

Had a nice afternoon shave today . John Holler Celebrated razor. I did my cheeks and neck and used my adjustable injector for the detail work around my stash. Fantastic results.
