Nice, Kevin! A peewee blade compared with your usual rotation;)

Today's shave was with an often looked over, but fantastic shaving razor. I had a very very smooth, 2 pass shave, WTG and then ATG, with BDBS results. Zero issues.
I just want to add that I own a few of these razors, and am always happy with the results. These are American made Wedges, that are easy to hone, and take a fantastic edge, for a wedge razor. Being a Wedge razor, it does the job, in near silence(compared to a hollow grind). I highly recommend picking one of these up, because they usually go for cheap, and are always a pleasure to use, for me.

Razor- "Spike", by Union Cutlery. Olean NY.

    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood
    Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice

Today’s shave was light as a feather, super smooth, and super efficient. A true pleasure :happy036: I think the refresh on the yellow-green Thuri did the trick. :happy088:

Shoulderless blade, thumb notch, with jimps, and 6/8, triple pinned scales......all adds up to one sweet razor :happy088:

First time using the skittle. This one is clearly hand thrown. Very well done and heavy. I can imagine a tall thin older lady dressed like a hippy, smelling of patchouli and weed at a potters wheel......Poured in boiling water and had nice hot lather for three full passes. Just what I need on a cold, snowy Michigan winter evening:)
The Yamada more than made up for yesterday’s awful shave with the dreaded three bladed monstrosity.

One of my favorites. If I could add a small smile it would be perfect. The notch is really pronounced and the jumps are nice and deep and closely spaced. Did I mention the blade is fantastic too? :happy093:

That razor is gorgeous from head to toe! It has screaming Swedish styled curves and the ivory is eye popping!

I missed the scales at first glance on my phone. Eye popping is right!

Tried and true Frederick Reynolds on a rare non weekend straight razor shave. Pulled out my Dirty South set I got from my Secret Santa as I'm loving the scent.

Will likely have to send this and my other straight out as I can tell they are starting to tug more. That being said I'm def growing in confidence and comfort with this blade.

Also hoping to send my 9/8 chopper out for refurbishing over the holiday. [IMG]

Excellent shave this morning. I finished this blade with what I believe is an Arkansas Hard White. I had a pretty good year picking up every arkie I could get my hands at flea markets, etc. This stone is 8" x 1 3/4 and I picked it up for $3. I have a Translucent White I want to try next as a finisher.

Nothing like a relaxing three pass straight shave on a blustery cold winter eve. BBS shave but still suffering from a cold:(
