Tonight's shave was with another German Razor. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero issues.

    Dbl Duck 5/8

    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Speick

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the GarnerPW IX synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Dbl Duck 5/8 and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Speick AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you. BBS shaves, nimble for its size, and sings nicely.

My photo host has been down for a couple of days. I shaved with this set up Thursday. Nice shave, almost too much menthol for me in a soap though I enjoy a very cold aftershave. Edge was finished with a Charnley Forest and I think I prefer the Cashmere knot over Tuxedo. Have a good one.

This mornings shave. I did this blade with my Arkansas stones including"Black Dick" my black arkie (we've had a bit of a love, hate relationship). I think me and "Black Dick the pirate" have finally have an understanding of how he works. I have no idea how many times I've reworked this stone but I think it's close to "right" now. Very good shave.

I bought a Dubl Duck with them on there, and hated them. They have grown on me since. I love them now.

I apologize if you have shared the details of this razor before, but I needed to ask. This looks like a beautiful cross of an Ern Ator’s humped tang with the gentle blade curve of an SK3. I find this shape amazing!!! Did you have this commissioned or have the details of the design?
    Thank you.

Thank you. I actually bought this razor used. It looked good in the picks so I went for it. The prior owner tried to remove a scratch on one side but it came out looking like a smudge so I was a able to buy it for a nice price ;)

This year I discovered I really like smiling razors. SK3 is on my want to buy list.
