What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

This was a flea market find a few years ago. I see one or two a year, but they are to beat up by time to come home with me

 

Three days of growth met my Suzy Q after she got the Thuri treatment. Nice two pass shave and touch ups put those whiskers to bed.

Today's shave was with an American Made razor. I had a 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Not the prettiest razor in the bunch, but it was a "Rust Bucket" when I got it. It is a fantastic shaving blade.

Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Flying Cloud Bottle. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good.

 

LeGrelot, very nice , heavy blade. Really a nice sharp, smooth shaver.

 

Right on que, a Crown and Sword appears. Oscar, that’s a fine look razor.

That is a beautiful job.

 

Was running behind this morning and did not have time for whisker prep .So I picked a Hayashi Diamond to mow down the tough whiskers .Blade did not let me down.Like a hot knife cutting butter.

Today's shave was with a fantastic Wedge. I had a smooth and silent 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. This Razor might be my best shaving Wedge Razor, that I own, so far.

Magical shave with my W&B tonight. First shave off a refresh and it made the tough stuff easy. Feather light touch up strokes just gliding on the skin simply wiped away anything left.
