    Razor: Pimp Stick
Brush: Wolf Whiskers - Lemonade - TimberWolf Bulb Knot
Soap and Aftershave: Stirling Weekend In Malibu

Pretty decent shave with this Bismarck Pimp Stick today! I like my Wade & Butcher better due to the size and weight though.

Had to join the Bismarck brigade...
Razor: Bismarck 502 “Fine Hollow Ground”
Brush: Simpson Chubby 1 Best Badger
    Soap: Vintage Williams
    A/S: Country Club Frozen Vetiver
I think this is a pre-Dovo Bismarck from the Müller era - maybe towards the end of their run with the brand. Timeless shape!

Since this is "Pimp Stick" Saturday, I thought I would break one out. I had a wonderful 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Excellent razor, that hasn't had much attention. Very well made, excellent steel.

    Razor- Japanese "Old Cherry 3934"
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Ships Lantern Decanter

I got the pimp stick memo and decided to extend it to Sunday too. I missed the Bismarck memo. That will come later this week.

The shave feels similar to my Bismarck. :signs136:

I had a fine two pass shave with my Genco ‘Red Cross’ razor this morning.

I’ve almost finished my tub of Chiseled Face ghost town barber. When I first used this soap, I found the lather to be just okay. Since that time I’ve discovered that it’s a thirsty soap and, after some practice, I now get consistently great lathers. I would buy this one again.

Decided to go with the Bismarck again this morning & The Holy Black Sandalwood Smoke. Had to throw in my Roo strop by @Drygulch in the pic too.

I’ve been refreshing a lot of blades to get to know my yellow/green Thuri better. Today I broke out three razors for comparison. Naturally, I then had to shave with all three to get the feedback on how they turned out. I knew my Old Lady wedge wasn’t going to have the same edge as a more modern blade but she did well. The Korn and the Wosty were both great but I think I prefer the smoother Wosty over the slightly sharper Korn. Nice to have such choices to make. :happy036:

    Hot water preparation
    AOS Lavender PSO
    Mike’s Natural Soaps Hungarian Lavender
    T&H Wellington Super Badger
    “Old Lady” no-tail wedge (late 1700s/early 1800s?)
    Geo Korn 7004 5/8
    Geo Wostenholm Pipe 5/8
    AOS Lavender After Shave Balm

    Happy shaving - Karl

Well, I'm tired of winter, is it spring yet? No? So I was up for some pure luxury after a month of cold windy and sometimes wet weather. The cold and sometimes wet is not unusual for East Tennessee, but the long spells of wind made it feel colder and less pleasant to be outside.

Nothing like loading up a big soft Simpsons 59 ideally suited for creams with a big gob of AdP. The mild aquatic scent reminds me of the beach, and the C. V. Heljestrand Mk 144 in paper-thin ivory scales did shaving magic.

    Cheers, Steve
