Tonight's shave was with a super sharp German Razor. I had a silky smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. This is a fine shaving razor, that takes a HHT-CN edge on it.

    Razor- J.H.Obold & Co. Germany.
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Scented.
    Aftershave- Osage Rub

Been lazy and haven’t shaved for a couple days. All I need is a bottle in a bag to complete the wino look:)
Took it all off effortlessly with the ducks.

It handled nicely. It was definitely shave ready but I can't wait to 'tune up' the edge. It will take some getting used to, the smile is kind of extreme. It was odd to use on my cheeks but on my neck and upper lip it made things easier.

Stropping was easy, it is going to take me a few shaves to figure out how to shave with it, it made the neck easy but other areas required some extra thought. I have not honed it yet.

Drew Dick 5/8 extra hollow. Always fun to use this one in silence, it definitely creates a large echo as the hairs pop.

Le Grelot. A really nice shaver. Luckily found this while on the hunt for a TI. Came to me from France. 8F9E5E16-8D71-4B40-92CD-11EC9B1E1074.jpeg

The tang of this razor is totally round with no flat area to grip. Thought to myself, I wonder if this will make it trickier to handle? Proceeded in less than 2 minutes to drop it on the floor while stropping it. Cracked the scales on the end. On the bright side I didn’t slice my finger off when I tried to catch it like a dummy. :) I’m sure at least one of you has attempted that move with me.

I made a conscious decision before str8 shaving to NEVER reach for a razor if it slipped out of my hands. And yes, I have a blade chipped and cracked, but no injury to myself.
