Oscar: I cannot imagine how nice having a big Wacker would be;) My Wacker is small, but performs wonderfully;)

Todays shave was with an old "Rescue Razor", made in St Louis. I had a glass smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Excellent shaving razor, and made very well.

    Razor- Shapheigh, St Louis USA.
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

One pass shave for a three day growth of beard. I had touched up my blade with a Naniwa 8K and 12K pyramid followed by Gokumyo Suehiro 20K and chromium oxide. A super shave.

Keith - Very cool background and the blade highlight just pops! Perfect way to show off that razor.

I know I've seen it on here before, hence I could probably search for it... okay, I couldn't find it :)
Would you mind sharing your 8k/12k pyramid again? Thanks.

Thanks, Tom. This razor is very camera shy, and not photogenic:). It’s really hard to show how beautiful this razor is via camera.

Tonight's shave was with a fine German Razor. I had a smooth 1 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Excellent razor. I wouldn't hesitate getting another, if one could be found for a good price.

Razor- Dame Stoodard & Kendall. Boston. Made in Germany
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
    Aftershave- Family Dollars "Spice"

    Going with an older Wosty...
Razor: Pipe razor by Geo. Wostenholm & Son’s
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft Bruce
    Soap: Razorock WTP Blue Barbershop
    A/S: Razorock Baby Blue
Funny - went from a Wostenholm tang with every letter in the alphabet to this one.

Had to take a 1/4 in off the tip but tried to mirror the old profile. And I’m torn about messing with the dyed horn scales... I dig it as-is.
    Enjoy your shave!

It will just keep cracking, and splitting more, unless it sealed. I've had several, that looked worse than that. I sanded, them down, then applied a lot of Cyano Acetate, to seal the scales. I then sanded, and polished them, until they look presentable.

Full hollow I believe. It's a nice shaver. I have 3 Wackers and like them all, a 6/8 Inox Spanish point and a Chevalier.
