What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #105 two-band badger brush. I did two passes with the Wade & Butcher 5/8 Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Maybe "Buttery Baby Dolphin Butt Smooth Shave" (BBDBSS)

Never buttered a dolphin, but that's got to be SLIIIIICK.

This One was NOS Factory Fresh..I Always Use My Surgical Black Arkansas for Herder Stainless Blades..Well..Thus Far..They Excel with a High Grit 20 K Finisher..

Zenith 26mm x 57mm boar

Nice shave this morning. I had planned on having to reset the knot on this Zenith brush but I don't think it'll be nessecesary with this Zenith. IMO, it's as close to perfect as it will get. It's very close to how I set my big Omegas. Have a good one. The bad news is I'm ordering boars again. I have a Mondial 25mm x 60mm that has a nice looking sculpted bulb style head in the mail.

Tonight's shave was with an American made razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero issues. A nicely made razor, that keeps a fine edge.

Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
