I have the work day off and am awaiting two NOS Japanese straights. They are running a day late, because of wrong zip by seller. One of them would have been the straight for today. Instead I shaved with my Dovo Fritz Bracht 55 Best Class. Excellent shave. Touched up with cubic boron nitride on nanocloth.

    Crown & Sword
I just finished rescaling this blade in fake MOP. It's always been a good shaver.

I test shaved my NOS( well now I polished and honed and so it's technically not NOS now) Japanese razors, Tiger High Class 88 (black scales) and Takehana FEON 1880. I think I'll put them back on the hones tonight. Not smooth enough shave.

    Thanks.

I like the ERN's and especially the Crown and Swords. Those scales make it look even better.

I'm taking a few days off from shaving. I have some respiratory crud and a fever and don't want to cough in the middle of shaving and do damage. Going to work for a few hours, then back to bed.

I have the flu and 102 temp and am shaky, but shaved anyhow, sometimes using both hands to keep the razor steady.

ERN 10 Years Guarantee...it was NOS back in September and still has the factory edge. Superb shave.

I shaved with no shakes today. Maybe the Tamiflu is working. This my remaining modern straight. I bought from Steve/Oscar11 in 2012. It's Art of Shaving Stainless Steel. AOS got their straights from Dovo at the time and this is probably Dovo Master's with Grenadille Wood (African Blackwood) scakes. I think AOS sells some Boker straights now. Steve had a much better photo. It shaves very well, by the way.

Steve, I hope you don't mind. I pulled the Marketplace photo to show a better look at the Master's.
