    Proraso Pre Shave
    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #268
    Henry Taylor 5/8
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva Musk

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #268 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Henry Taylor 5/8 Straight Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you for the kind words. This SR was a mess when I got it. Need a complete restore. Had to fix both warped scales in my scale press and wet sand and polish scales to bring back the translucency. It was worth the effort

There is a lot to choose from between the new artisans and the vintage steel. Given by the wait times it seems straight razor shaving is alive and well.

It's a frosty morning here, so that calls for a frosty soap, Chiseled Face Cryogen. That stuff is a blast from the arctic that leaves you gasping! Applied by a brand new Iron City brush, so new it still has that wet dog smell. Edge provided by this antique Otto Deutsch Hans, stropped multiple times and carefully applied to the face. A combo of old and new, resulting in a beautiful shave.

I been out of town this week for work. Pretty much used this set up for the week. Excellent shaves no post shave burn with the VIBR. I'm a single digit midget only 9 more days until retirement. Pretty sure it's not going to work out, they don't have anyone certified for my position so I'll end up hanging around for a month or six weeks. I don't get along with my boss he's always had that "lifer" REMF attitude. Should be fun. Have a good one.
