What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

I'd have to say lavender has nothing to do with the scent of this soap it's more of musty basement scent. I picked up this unused soap at a flea market last summer, figured it was an old tallow base soap. I did a fair amount of work (playing around) with this brush, it was the prickliest brush I've ever run across. The brush turned out to be a good one and will go into rotation. Next week I'll work with ABC brush which I don't believe will be a problem. Nice shave today and very decent post shave feel from the Stratford Soap . Have a good one.

Local Gent Field and Stream soap, Rainbow synthetic brush, C.F. Wolfertz & Co vintage straight out of Allentown, Pa., Proraso eucalyptus and menthol aftershave.

25 laps on leather, both sides, two passes on the face, one seeper only, nice clean shave to start the weekend.

 

Lovely Looking Blade. Bet the shave was awesome .

 

5/8 Mikado F.A. Clauberg With Fancy Spine Work Had a suburb shave and was dolphin smooth in no time .This blade remove two days of growth with very little effort .

 

Hot Rod Wosty... George Wostenholm & Sons project from a while back.
Original horn combined with camel bone through a colored resin.

Tonight's shave was with a Japanese Barbers Razor. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, that took off 2 days growth, easily, and left me with a DFS. Zero issues.

Razor- Japanese "Coral 1070". For Professional Use.
Brush- JR #262. Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Whipped Dog Silvertip. Perfect Brush.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Shulton Old Spice "Ships Canon", Refilled with Vintage Shulton Old Spice.

Mine came from The Superior Save with a fantastic edge and it has been easy to maintain. When I struggle with a blade I’ll send it out to be honed.

Shave #33 yesterday and #34 today, edge is still going strong and is shaving consistently well. Canvas was used after shave #22 and #32. Cream is Floris 89, the brush a Simpsons Keyhole 4, with a splash of Harris Pink to top it off.

Been using mostly hollow ground German blades lately .Time to change it up .Feel the need for a Heavy Wedge .
7/8+ Koraat Wedge Love using this razor .Great Balance for its size .Whiskers did no no what hit them .BBS in no time with minimal effort .The razor is truly a Whisker Wacker .

 

I used the Koraat again, and it is truly a whisker wacker, two day growth and mowed right through it.

No image this morning, too much to do! But shave #35 with the Cape, Truefitt and Hill Grafton lathered up with a TOBS brush and finished off with a splash of Lucky Tiger. Dolphin smooth even at 35 shaves.

Yesterdays shave
Tuchmar 3/4 full hollow round end
Cut the tip of my chin before church, pain in the but to get blood flow stopped. But I did, and the shave was good other than that.
