I love the big Revisor. Nice horn scales.

Red Imps: two of 'em newly-honed and side-by-side shave comparison of a 5/8 and a 6/8. (pictured). Lovely razors and extremely smooth shave!…

Very nice Kevin you don't often see a 6/8 Red Imp I may have been tempted to keep the few NOS ones that's passed through my hands If I had come across a 6/8.

Jamie, since this was my first go with any Red Imp, I came away very impressed with the razors. Both honed easily, took keen edges and felt very comfy during the shave...:happy088:

Follow up day with the Cape Kennedy after a touch up on the hones. The shave is good, but not as good as I think it can be. I'm going to reset the bevel and take it up through the hones. A razor like this should be performing as well as anything. @lindyhopper66, I'm curious to get your take on yours when it arrives...

I have 2 Case Imps, one I gave to my son-in-law, both were 5/8 and absolutely great shavers. Nice find on the 6/8.

    Mike,

I've had my Cape Kennedy since Wednesday but haven't used it. I took your advice and touched up on 12k and added CrOx, diamond and CBN. I'll try it tomorrow morning.

..and used both my new Chosera bevel setter and Apache finisher. The result of my efforts was an incredibly wickedly-sharp edge that provided an very smooth shaving experience with this challenging razor!

Nice shave this morning. I'm starting to like this knot. I haven't decided to try and get a couple more mm out of it but it's a good face lathering brush. The only problem is that I've been obsessed with boars for quite a while. Have a good one.
