    Clubman Pinaud AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. I used Clubman Classic Shave Cream as a pre-shave. It is an non-lathering SC, so I just applied a thin layer before face-lathering the Williams Mug Shave Soap with the Jayaruh #30 brush. I did two passes with the J.R.Torrey 5/8 straight and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Clubman Pinaud AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

User Filly 14 DT and a bunch of ABC this morning, shampoo, cream, and balm. A TOBS brush did the mixology. Great Saturday morning shave.

    Cheers, Steve

Tonight's shave was with an American made razor, at it's finest. I had a super smooth 2 pass shave, WTG and ATG, that left me with a BDBS shave. This razor performs excellently, and with the thumb notch the way it is, it is a snap, to shave and strop.

My newly acquired, and freshly honed Torrey razor, did a great job. BBS, almost a dolphin smooth shave, but not quite there. This one is definitely staying in the regular rotation.

Wow, some really lovely razors recently, congratulations gentlemen!

Filly 14 with a touched up edge this morning, cream was XPEC unscented, hand scented with Domenico Caraceni 1913, a lovely and elegant rose. A dense, white-haired Simpsons 58 carbureted the soap, water, and air, and Thayers Rose petal finished up. One spritz of the DC 1913 juice made for a perfect Sunday shave.

    Cheers, Steve

    SOTD:
    Preshave: Proraso white
    Bowl: Castle Shave bowl
    Brush: Shavemac D01 28mm
    Soap: WK king of Oud
Razor: Freshly restored Joseph Rodgers and Sons(I’m guessing pre 1864) military Razor
    Aftershave: WK king of Oud

Great Shave with this freshly restored razor. Had to rehone because I didn’t like the edge and ended up getting it bang on the 2nd time. I take no substitute for perfection with my razors so they have to be on point! But I had a great shave none the less. It was buttery smooth but I have to improve my positioning on my neck because my hair grows east all the way through. So it’s a lot harder getting ATG right.

The coolness factor of the razors in the this thread is just off the charts these days.
