Tonight's shave was with an American made razor. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. No issues, just a solid well build, nice razor.

Razor- Landers, Frary, & Clark. New Britain Conn.
Brush- B400, By Tom(@twhite ). WD Boar Knot. 6 hairs shed.
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood.
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

    FW Engles Special.
This is the loudest shaver of the lot. It was just a tad grabby, so I took it to the Swaty barber hone, and finished it on the Trans Arkie. Wow! What a combo for a smooth, close shave.

Nice! I’ve been itching for a Revisor. Do you have any info of the pricing to US vs their pricing on their website? As I understand ; we don’t have to pay VATS.

I feel like a bit of an outcast doing my Filly 14 edge longevity test, and no pretty images of different razors to post. But if you are going to do this kind of exercise, you kind of have to plow through it or no one will remember what you’re doing (including me lol). Anyway, shave #30 this morning, and the edge is doing very well. So far it’s holding up as well as the Cape 1000 Swedish Steel. Not really unexpected at #30, things will get interesting in about 20 shaves.

    Cheers, Steve

Wade and Butcher Medium Size Hollow Ground. (Inspiration from Tom). I do enjoy the shave from this Sheffield shaver:). Really smooth and comfortable. Although I generally prefer the Solingen Ground flavor, I do like this Englishman. This was a rusty little bugger with mismatched scales when I got it. This was also my first restoration project, thus my only Sheffield left. I punted all the others;)

That was my first go with it... very enjoyable. Definitely not so “hollow ground” - silent, but comfortable shaver indeed! Beautiful example and restoration Keith.
