Wonderful shave today. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Great razor, and excellent shaving cream. The cream was even better, because my two daughters pitched in, to buy it for me, for Christmas. This soap is very very slick, and has a very nice Old Time smell to it.

Razor- "Perfection Warranted", by Swank HW Co.
Brush- Omega 10098 Boar
Cream- Kingsman "Bourbon" by, the AOS.
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Mmmmm Mmmmm Goood.

Don’t remember it being this good off the hones. Maybe the stropping or maybe the soap... but it is very nice now.

Had a wonderful shave with this recently acquired straight .It came with a truly Shave Ready Edge .This 170 year old blade mowed down two days of growth with very little effort . The Sheffield Steel felt smooth as butter .

Nice shave this morning. I touched up the edge on a coti hit the strop and took it for a shave. One place I have been lucky is with coticules I've never paid more than $7.50 ea. for my 3 stones. The one I used this morning is a good finisher, light slurry to water and your good to go. Nice tacky edge and very comfortable to shave with. Just a nice daily shave. Have a good one.

 

It’s been raining for 2 days here, so there was time for a leisurely shave this morning. The ol’ reliable Filly 14 was accompanied by MdC rose lathered with a Rooney 3/2 3-band Heritage (note the ‘atomic’ bloom). A little Thayers Rose petal finished things up.
