Did you go back in a time machine to buy that one?

    Yeah! I know.

What is it with the Scots?
First, they get all the babes.
    And now, a time machine!

I might get an inferiority complex.

Better shave before it kicks in.

I am a sucker for lines like your Lund and my W&B.... and your "Napoleon." Okay, truth be told... I am a sucker for most of the razors in this thread... luckily it is ONLY 923 pages long :)

Well someone has to bust the bubble, lol. Gold Dollar 208, honed up last evening to test a tomo. The shave wasn’t as smooth as I was expecting for the HHT that I got, but no complaints about the results, close and comfortable. Soap was AdP lathered with a keyhole 4 and a little AdP balm finished up.

Might try a new stone/nagura on it, but I’m also supposed to have a Sub Cero arriving today....

Nice user grade, very light wear, and even - no extra wear at the toe. A little TLC should make this one pretty!

Newly acquired, restored, and honed razor. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues, just super sharp, and smooth. Excellent razor.
Thanks to @Steve56 , I am trying a JNAT Finishing Stone, and Nagura Slurry stone, with this one. Great results.

Test drive on my new honing school candidate, the ZY 430. Marketed as made "shave ready" by their very own "honemiester".

Looked far, far, far better than my other project product of China, so I figured I'd give it a try. Went with the regular routine stropping and prep. @Steve56 didn't think I'd be happy with it......he was right. Very toothy feel. It cut better than the bent up Gold Dollar I just honed, but nowhere near as smooth. 1 pass was good enough to come to that conclusion.

Never could I have imagined I'd be finishing test shaves with a shavette. 2.5 passes with the Focus R21 did the trick.

Now if I can learn to hone my straights to shave that easily...... even a little..... I'll be very happy.

    This is fun!

Ah, the ZY honed by master Shifu ... sometimes he has better days than others, but not what we’re used to!

It’s possible to make an edge that equals the shavette I think, and a bit smoother to boot.
