Too right Kevin. No pretense there at all, just a great smile an' laugh. And a good lookin' beard to boot!

Not sure what to call it but it's the only style that grows decent....I wish I could grow a good beard. Here's a recent pic with a week or so since completely shaving [IMG]

Right now I have a Zappa, but soon the ends will be long enough to shape into an English Moustache at which time I will remove the Soul Patch part of the Zappa.
<<< In my avatar I have a Horseshoe, NOT to be confused with a Fu Manchu.
I change my facial hair quite frequently. Probably every two months or so. I've done everything from clean shaven to Goatee, Handlebar, Hollywood, Mutton Chops, Balbo, Cantinflas, Toothbrush (this one only lasted a few days, got some strange looks, wont be doing it again, google it), Chin Puff, Chin Strap, Soul Patch, Copstache, Norse Skipper, Van Dyke, Franz Josef, Winnfield, Amish, Full Beard, various lengths of sideburns and numerous other combinations and variations.

I have had a horseshoe 'stache for 15 years now, along with sideburns going down to my jaw about an inch wide. I will sometimes grow most of a beard like my picture, but always keep the chin and neck shaved. Most of the time it is the horseshoe and the sideburns.

I have been clean shaven two times since I graduated high school. I hate the way it looks. Last time I did it, my wife told me to grow it back.

According to the picture I have a Van Dyke. Not to be confused with a Dick Van Dyke

Iv been cursed with a full on beard since i was 15 16 :p So 15 years . Was a pain in the bum in high school cuz id have stubble the day after shaving. And kids being mean would call me a hobo and stuff cuz it looked like i never shave haha. Cant wait for my first real shave with a safety razor. Im complety over having to buzz my face before using a mach 3 on it and having that mach 3 last just that 1 shave ...sooo much money so i dont shave very often now adays ..

I'm clean shaven. I'd like to grow a beard (especially for the winter) but my wife does not want me to, and a happy wife is a happy life :0)

Although my avatar portrays me in a full, trimmed beard. 99% of the time I'm clean shaven. Kind of being OCD, I shave at least once daily and twice on some days. Keeping the beard trimmed tends to stress me out. :)

Mine is mutton chops. Although I never call them that because I don't like them to flare at the jaw into the 'mutton' shape. I prefer the term 'side whiskers'. I keep them trimmed about a inch wide, straight from top to bottom, ending just under the jaw. I have had them for more years than I care to admit. Once and a while I will declare that I need a change and cut them off. Then after a certain period of mirror induced self loathing occurs, I grow them back. I have done this since high school.

Definitely an extended Zappa (sort of a VanDyke with a narrow beard under a handlebar 'stache). That should have its own name.

Not represented in the chart above, but how I used to have my goatee is the Stark 'Stache:
