Ran out of gas after doing all the shoulder exercises above and the leg extensions, standing leg curls and only six sets of the donkey calf raises. Still finished off 20 minutes in the sauna and plan to do the adductor and abductor exercises after my cardio and abdomen workout tomorrow afternoon.
Hadn't seen my granddaughter in three weeks and she wanted to visit and have dinner with me so no cardio workout today but back at the weights tomorrow.
Getting too old for this type of workout but old habits die hard. Hammer rows x4, wide grip pull downs x4, seated long cable rows x4, Close grip reverse pull downs x 4 (all progressive weight). Next up biceps: Incline dumbbell curl x 4(progressive), preacher curls x4(progressive), Scott Curls x4 (progressive) Behind Head Cable Curl x4 (progressive) hammer Curls x4 (progressive) Ended workout with 20 minutes in the sauna.
I had to skip my workout on Wednesday, but managed to squeeze in an hour yesterday instead. It was chest and triceps day, and started with dumbbell press x 3. Dumbbell flyes x 3 and decline bench press x 3. Followed by a few triceps cable pull exercises before headed home
Since our local weather is very hot and humid Worked out at the Gym today. 40 min on the Treadmill. 20 min on the Elliptical Bike. Various weight machines (recommended by my PT), about 5 min each.
Short workout today. 20 minute on recumbent bike followed by 20 minutes on treadmill then ended with 15 minutes in sauna.
Different day, same workout: Two hours walking around town, carrying roughly 20 pounds (9 kg) of books.
Great idea! I can share and use motivation of others as I always find it hard to start a workout, but always enjoy doing them once started. Last Thursday, swam 1km suring my lunch break. Great way to avoid the heat! Saturday, mountain bike in a horrible trail. Groved by quads an sunk by all the rain we got lately. Wouldn't do this trail again! Today, running around a bunch of kids at my son's birthday party. Cheers!
I did an @HolyRollah workout today: 3 sets of unilateral bicep curls while drinking coffee. Many reps on the other side while lifting a fork enjoying a strawberry, basil, pine nut crepe for breakfast. I'm on vacation, so don't judge. I did pass on the bacon. Normally, I hit the gym 2 to 3x / wk with a trainer and do whatever he tells me.
Especially when one is on vacation. It should read I ate the combined weight of the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line in bacon
