It is surprising what a difference a little weight will do for your health. Hats off to our serviceman who walk and run with 70 rucksacks on their backs.
Thanks, slept all the way through the night, first time in two weeks and zero coughing or struggling to breath this morning. Actually looking forward to today since I feel pretty good so far.
Sorry, guys. I'm a few days behind. Sunday: 40 mile ride on my mountain bike Monday: Rest Tuesday: 2 mile jog/run on the beach front (not actual beach) and then enjoyed my coffee while watching the sun rise just after running. Wednesday: I walked for 50 minutes this morning. Today will also be chest, back, and maybe even some power clings in the gym.
Today is back and bicepts. I'll get some shoulders worked in there too. Getting back into the groove so I'm not sure what kind of routine I have yet. Yesterday was 20mi on the bike, 2 mi on the treadmill then 3x 8 Straight bench press 3x 8 Inclined bench 2x 5 declined bench 2x 10 1x exhaustion skullcrushers 3x 10 chest flys Very nice workout
Ended up skipping workout today as Granddaughter had after school function and went over to support her.
Today's Work Out: Woke up at 4:20 AM and jogged 2 miles this morning, then walked for an additional 30 minutes. Walk the parking garage today at least twice. This evening I will go to the gym to work biceps and back. (If I can get to the gym with workout partner early enough, I may walk for another 30 minutes or so) I'm down 30 pounds and from a snug 38" relaxed fit waist size down to a 34 to 34" relaxed fit waist size since July 13! Woot!
Yesterday, back to the gym for the usual workout: Triceps pushdown Lat pulldown -all 3 sets of 8 reps. Back stretch 10 reps with 15 lb. dumbbells 15 minutes on stationary bike 25 on treadmill at 2.6 mph
Much, much better. Have slept soundly last two nights, no more hacking, mucus buildup or post nasal drip. Thanks for thinking of me.
Felt good to be back in the gym today. Seated Military Press x3, Upright row x4, standing dumbbell press pinky up x 4, Machine Reverse Flyes x4 (weight added progressively for each set). Adductor machine x4 then Abductor Machine x 4 (weight added progressively for each set). vertical chair knee raise x4 sets. Ended workout with 20 minutes in the sauna.
Been a crazy day at work and now I felt a little under the weather. No gym for me today. Looking forward to a good night sleep!
Well I hope you recover soon and don't come down with Adult Whooping Cough. Found out at work today my boss also has it. More than likely she got it from me as she sat at the office desk next to mine for three days.
No workout yesterday. Just when I was walking out of the office headed to the gym, granddaughter called and wanted to spend the night (actually she wanted to go to the pumpkin patch) so spent the evening and this morning with her. Always a joy having her around. Did go to the gym this afternoon and took in half hour recumbent bike ride and 20 minutes in the sauna.
