I was going to the gym 3x a week until I had an Echocardiogram in June. I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis, and I'm a little worried about going back to my routine at the gym. If I get over-exerted, I started to feel heavy in the chest and get short of breath, more so than from just working out. I'm waiting to go back to my cardiologist to discuss returning back to the gym.
I got some much needed saddle time today. Not the fastest ride, but I made it up my nemisis, a 7 mile climb, without stopping. Enjoy your day. 25.8 miles, 2 hours 21 minutes, 1800 ft of climbing
Standing Overhead BB Press BB Shrugs Cable Face Pulls Farmer's Walk Treadmill I was feeling really good until I smashed my finger under an 85lb dumbbell when re-racking after farmer walk. I know i let a few 4 letter words fly when I did it and my finger is a few shades of purple. I don't think it is broken (i know that fun) but it doesn't feel really awesome right now either. Said screw it and got on the treadmill. Oh well they all cant be winners.
I have some right in front of me too and just didn't think of taking it. Im not always the brightest bulb in the pack...
In my son's first platoon command, the "doc" had this mantra, "hydrate, take some ibuprofen and change your socks".
Couldn't get to the dumbells today, , it was too crowded. Solid lat pulldown work, 30 minutes on the tread following 15 on the stat. bike. Did more, but those were the highlights.
I have commuted by bike the last 3 days. 22.5 mile round trip in just under 2 hours per day carrying a 30lb pack.

Thank you. Unfortunately, the condition doesn't improve. It only gets worse. They told me there is nothing I can do, no change in diet, nothing. Eventually, it will get bad enough to need a valve replacement. But, for now, it's not bad enough to need a replacement right away. I will have to continue to have an Echocardiogram once a year until it starts getting worse. This condition runs in my family. I had one uncle die from it, and another who had the surgery and has been doing great for 14 years. They told him it came with a lifetime guarantee. I asked him, whose lifetime, yours, or the valves? lol Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk
