I think I know where you're going on the face wash - kills the natural oils in your face and dries it out before the shave. That's why pre-shave oils work for some people.

Rich: apparently there is a theory that washing your face b4 the shave takes away natural oils that help during the shave. I dunno 'bout that. When I'm taking a rinse I havta wash my face. Dont feel clean unless I do.

Nancy Boy Invigorating Bath Soap Proraso Pre Post Cream as a pre shave Mama Bear Eucalyptus Shave Soap with Proraso Cream Superlather Custom Aftershave of Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera and Tea Tree & Olbas Oils Damp towel out of the freezer placed on top of layer of Proraso Pre Post Cream as a post shave.
