I would call it PIF material. If you just don't like the razor, why try to make yourself like it? It's not like 20 years ago when only a few Merkurs and Parkers were available. Nowadays we have a wet shaving smorgasbord of gear from which to choose, razors included.
Aaahhh, I was thinking of Lincoln's clever answer to the question "How many legs would a dog have if you call his tail a leg?". Lincoln said "4. Calling a tail a leg doesn't make it one". Our 16th POTUS had a clever wit.
Since this thread received a bump, there are 3 Melvin razors I just did not get along with at all. The 2011 R41 and the RR Hawk V3OC were both entirely too much. I would hack myself and not got a good shave ever. The Merkur 33c was entirely too mild. I would have to use half a ton of pressure to even feel the blade and still finish the shave with a 5 o'clock shadow
Gillette Slim Twist was too mild for me. Also it is very light, so I have to use more pressure than any other razor just to feel the blade. It didn't work for me. RMX3710 cihazımdan Tapatalk kullanılarak gönderildi
