What would you call a bad razor?

I own a R41.
For a while, a long while, we just couldn't get along.
The most uncomfortable shave I ever had from a DE razor, but a close shave.

Not that it was a bad razor per say, it didn't smoke or cheat at cards but it was unruly, unwieldy and we couldn't see eyeto eye.
So I sent it to it's room and went on shaving as I normally do, with other tools of destruction and mayhem.
One day, after a couple months, I decided to see if we could get along.
Hmmmm...
One more shave and if we can't agree on anything, on the chopping block it goes.
Well, apparently it's attitude and my technique had improved significantly.
Loaded with my normal new Feather blade it gave me a comfortable close shave.
I now use it occasionally, it works well.
While still not a bad razor, it seems to have acquired a taste for rum, bay rum to be specific.
So....
I can't say its in the top 10, but it's not in the bottom 10 anymore.

which version--heard 2011,2013,and current are all different.current ss version different than all 3 zamaks.confusing...but very interesting!lol

so when people talk about r41,i get confused.and so do they.2people argue about it then it turns out they have different versions.

then all the razors avail in different gaps,etc.they say they like razor x, but it turns out there are many permutations of razor x.then you find out when they wrote review there was only one version.then you have to figure out which current permutation is the same as what they reviewed!is shaving really supposed to drive us crazy?i thought it was just supposed to empty wallet!lol
