Well as recommended by all the talking heads on the TV, as Seattle moves through a most unusual heat wave for our temperate climate - I'm forcing fluids - one ice-cold Corona at a time!
Glass of golden liquid, with a sweet aroma and easy going down. Apple juice! Enjoying an Oliva cigar, and I happen to like apple juice with cigars or with a pipe.
I seldom drink during a work week, but my unmarried wife and kids has gone away for a few days to visit the grandparent while I am "stuck" at work. In The Quiet Man, Maureen O'Hara asked Barry Fitzgerald if he could use a little water in his whiskey. He replied; When I drink whiskey I drink whiskey. When I drink water I drink water.
I have done the same, just with the 18 year old instead of the 10, and I also found the Quarter Cask to be best. It really is an amazing dram
Discovered a new, to me, Cider at Target and was rather pleasantly surprised. 6% alc, 650 ml - at $2.50! This is their Bourbon flavored one
I think Wild Turkey is highly underrated. I truly enjoy the 101 and now you may have me try out rare breed...
