I have been on some medication for the last two weeks and was told to lay off any alcohol. The medication is done this coming Saturday. So for Sunday and the Super Bowl I will enjoy a nip of Oban Single Malt Scotch and then chase it with a dram of Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

Licorice Spice tea. I'm not particularly old, but since I hit about 35-40, caffeine and/or booze after dinner lead to a terrible sleep :(

    So, herbal tea it is.

J&B Blend Scotch Whisky (cheap whisky) to kill my sore throat which is far better than the bullsh#t cough medicine, my grandmother has been doing this for many years since WW2 used Scotch Whisky to kill the germs or if you got a sore throat used two tablespoons of whisky straight up.

Going to crack open a nice IPA in memory of my dad who passed away last night. I suppose if I did it truly in his honor it would be a Hams, Olympia or Coors but I have to have standards.

Dalmore 12 year old single malt. My first in over 2 weeks. I always wait after my chemo infusions (which are now finished). No sense in drinking a nice scotch when your taste buds are fried.
