But those magazines had the new wave expensive ones-nice as they are. I developed a liking for Polo, Kenneth Cole, L'Homme. Too new and fancy for this old-school fella.(and expensive).

What I reach in the cabinet for usually depends on the time of year and the weather. Lately I have been wearing D&G Pour Homme a lot.

I KNEW I replied to your post before actually welcoming you to TSD. That kind of thing does happen, I suppose.

My current favorites are Tabac EDC or Canoe. I also have Tommy Bahama in the brown bottle, which is discontinued. I use that sparingly.

Here in the USA cologne and EDT are genetically called cologne.
I have about 25 or so fragrances of which my favorites are Guerlain Vetiver & Vetiver Extreme.

Why is that? They are not the same (one has more perfume oils than the other) so why call it the same?

It seems to add an element of confusion for a foreign penguin :)

That's just what most of middle America grew up calling it. Gets lost in the translation. Probably because most Americans a generation or two ago found the thought of applying water from a toilette to ones body repulsive?!?!:angry021::angry032::happy097::happy102:

Same fragrance; little more power. Use less.

Im wearing Quorum Silver by Anthony Puig right now and its smelling pretty good. Really hard to beat for the price.

For me right now it's Santos de Cartier (EDT) over eau de Guerlain (EDP.) The blend of the florals, Spice, and woods is a phenomenal experience.

I love experimenting to find combinations that compliment each other and make for an unique and pleasant olfactory experience.
