the kind where the classy-lookin' fella flips a bottle to someone with the great Old Spice jingle playing in the background, in the commercial.
I'd like to try Stetson sometime.
Vintage Stetson? Cause I think Walgreen's was carrying the Stetson gift sets with the aftershave and cologne for real cheap around holidays. Not sure about them still having it. I have some from last year and its a favorite. Came in a glass jar.
Anybody know what these are? I saw them in a antique store but I've never heard of these .
My dad's favorites.
... To be continued...
Thanks for showing this on Skin-Bracer's 85th year in operation.
That's Skin Bracer in replica commemorate bottles. It was for their 100th anniversary. I just googled it. I don't recall seeing that in 1978, but that must due to the fact I always got aftershave as a gift back then.
Hmm... Maybe they were trying to tell me something...
actually when I saw those bottles, it did confuse me a bit, but 1931 was a banner year for Skin Bracer, perhaps in a different way. OK Bill Mennen, what's happening, fella?
Wow, I'd love to get THAT aftershave!!!
Funny thing is ... It's still there.
That's good for pro-vintage folks.
Pinaud Wild Herbal
Hey, that must be a new one from Eddie P.
Glass bottle, no upc code.
Thats all you need. Of course, pinaud does put out 8 different scents i believe. Have you tried their lilac vegetol?
Since originally posting I've also tried their bay rum. My wife like lilac, so I may have to try the veg
I think everyone should at least TRY the veg.
Update-I got too tired of it and flipped it before it was empty. I mean, I LIKED it, but 16 oz. of aftershave is too much, unless you use ONLY that all year. (IMO).
Flipped it. Like as in sold it or dumped it out?
