What's Your Latest 100 Blade Purchase, And Why??

i really like them in 2 favorite gillettes so far.if they last 10 shaves for me i will get more..

My latest 100 blade purchase was Derby Premiums, for the following reasons:

1. They give me close shaves.
2. They give me very comfortable shaves.
3. They are very reasonably priced.
4. They are widely available.
5. And I only had about six months worth of blades left.

Another one to test. Prices are cheap on AliExpress. Since it was opened, and the blade was out, the wife grabbed it and put it into her razor. I guess she will have first shot at using it. Maybe I should supervise the shave. For scientific purposes.

 

As a bit of a newbie, I made the mistake of buying 100 Feather blades. I figured the sharpest is the best and I would be able to handle them. Yikes! Nope! Im not saying their bad by any means, but not for my "skill" level.

Treet Platinums and Sharks see to be pretty good for me right now. No blood!

 

We’re all different in what blades we like. Early on, I bought small pack of different brands to test them. (Turns out we love Feather blades, but it took some experimenting for us to determine that.)

 

Yeah, I recently bought a variety pack as well. I should have done that first! Live and learn. That's how I discovered Treets and Sharks. But I have many more brands to try out.

 

Hang onto them, and try them again, after a year of using other blades. Your skills will dramatically improve, and you should enjoy them.
