When do you shave?

I shave in the morning before I take a shower. I do an extensive prep and get great shaves. The shower ensures that I wash away all remnants of soap or cream.

There is no way I could shave at night...I would have 5 O'Clock shadow by the time I woke up.

 

Another evening shaver here. I am finding that proper wetshaving is a ritual not to be rushed, but instead to be savored. Furthermore with the quality of the shaves that I have been getting lately with a good DE and proper products, my face is still pretty smooth the next morning. I just give it a bit of GFT skinfood, splash some cologne on and i'm good to go for the day.

I was classified as an early morning shaver by the USN. Who am I to argue.

 

Morning right after my shower, some weekends it ends up being early afternoon, right after my shower.

 

Either late evening or very early morning for me. I shave whenever the notion strikes me, I don't answer to anyone, and don't work.. My last 2 shaves have been midnight to one am and have even been known to shave around 3am.

 

I normally shave in the evening after a shower. Last night got too late, so I shave this morning and tried pre-shave oil for the first time. Shave was great, felt like I'd just showered. Don't think it would do much on a normal night, but I'll try this again the next time I need to shave without a shower first.

 

Shaving after a shower in the morning works for me. I also use a face wash in shower to prep my skin and then I do not dry off my face when exiting the shower. If I shave with not having a shower at least 10 or 15 weepers appear out of nowhere on my neck even with the slightest touch.

 

In the AM - no shower.

 

After a shower in the evening right before bed. My wife really appreciates the smooth face at night. I've been experimenting with my AS samples so it helps to get her input on them.

 

Right before bed, after my shower. Great way to relax before hitting the hay.

 

I shave right after a shower, usually early in the morning.

 

Now that I'm retired early and morning don't go well together

 

Early in the morning after a shower and a cup of coffee - most days.

 

Wake up->start coffee->brush teeth->shower->shave->dress->BREAKFAST

 

Same here, after all these years, I've gotta shave in the morning, and if I do shave the evening before for some reason, I've got to get up and do it all over again the next morning. Those bad boys just keep growing!

 

I shave during my shower in the morning. I prep my face with an exfoliating scrub every other day, clean the rest of me, make my lather, shave and finish with a cold water rinse. I find I rarely get any nicks this way and it's easier for me to clean up.

I like in the bath too - I work shift so time of day varies, but when it's in the evening I like to have a cold beer while I am doing it. Makes me feel like Clint Eastwood in a western!

 

I shave in the morning right after my shower. The beard is soft and it wakes me up.

Usually AFTER I apply the lather... usually!
