When you post a new thread...

what does the little image of glasses mean next to the thread?
When I mouse over, it says "Watched"

 

If you look right above the top-most post, just to the right of the screen, under the SEARCH box, you see WATCH THREAD. Click on that to watch (every time someone posts in that thread, you'll get a notice) or un-watch that thread.
