In Disney's Lt. Robin Crusoe USN, Dick Van Dyke uses a straight.

Someone is shaving Raymond Burr with a straight in the pilot episode of Ironside.

Gary Hobson (Kyle Chandler) shaves with a straight on the 2nd episode of Early Edition.

..and the character Roy on Emergency shaves with a straight in one of the episodes from season 2.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet. But on the tv series lost jack finds a straight razor in one of the suitcases and he uses it to operate on someone( he's a surgeon)

Not really shaving but he's using one:p

If you google the name George Albert Smith, (1864-1959) you will find a number of silent movies that were produced by this early British film pioneer. He produced a movie in 1900 staring a comedian Tome Greene entitled, A Quick Shave and Brush-Up (1900). You can find images of Tom Greene shaving with a straight from the movie. It's kind of neat to see the still photo.

It does seem that one can find the old movie online and even buy it.

Henry Fonda gets a straight razor shave right at the start of My Name Is Nobody from one of the bad guys, before outdrawing and shooting him. What stuck in my mind was the fu mug of thick shaving lather that the guy uses.

Fun Movie. Just watched that last night. Besides the funky mug of shaving cream, the revolver to the groin stands out as a less then pleasant way to get a shave.

IN what was one of the best movies ever ,and Steve Mcqueen's finest "The Sandpebbles". There is a great scene where a crewman is being shaved by a chinese steward.
The movie is three hour's,but never a dull moment.IMHO!

Great guy, Steve McQueen. That performance opposite Dustin Hoffman in "Pappillon" (butterfly) was amazing. (Frame above).
