In Gangs of New York both Liam Neeson and Leonardo DiCaprio use a straight plus i believe Brendan Gleeson gets a shave havent seen it in a while though.

 

My son was watching Spongebob one evening when I walked on by. I caught a glimpes of Sponge Bob driving a boat while shaving with what looked like to me to be a Super Speed.

I started to watch it but never got to finish it. Has some shock effect in what I've seen so far.

Band of Brothers - Can't recall the episode but towards the end of one scene LT. Winters is shown beginning his shave. It shows him breaking the top layer of ice out of his water, dipping the brush in, and lathering up. It's in the middle of a battle field in the dead of a cold, snowy winter.

 

Next - Nicholas Cage uses a Gillette Super Adjustable Gold plated early in the movie then loses all respect by using a Gillette Good News later in the movie. In Final Draft Deborah Odell comits suicide with a straight.

 

Ewww! Lends realistic meaning to the phrase "cut throat razor"!

 

The movie was a bit twisted.

One of the bad guys is getting a shave in a barber shop. When his buddy gets him for help to fight Monco, he stops the barber mid shave and gets shot down with half bbs and half beard :rofl

 

In the movie Seven Samurai, the lead character (Shimada Kanbei) gets his head shaved bald with a Japanese style straight. NO LATHER, just cold river water..

flipping channels yesterday I saw woody allen in sleeper shaving with a straight. stopped flipping when I saw his face all lathered up he took a couple of strokes down the side of his face then next scene. back to flipping channels.
