Not one to be easily deterred, I'm still thinking outside the box even though I've sustained an onslaught of opposition. If Arko is too uptown, this would be my second choice.
Yes you did. The first one is my choice. Haven't heard of any of these, so picking the first first. Yup much more. For some to get rid of it, but for me because I happen to like it a lot. Even the scent.
You're goin vintage there, buddeh. I recall liking IS, but being frustrated over what AS to match it with.
I voted three times, and the third time was a charm. I've used a couple of different French shave soaps (MdC and Le Père Lucien) and enjoyed both of them. I look forward to learning more about his particular soap. Will be following along with great interest, Joseph.
I 'd like to try Le Pere Lucien, but it looks a bit expen$ive. Course that's what I said about Bill Neumann and plunked down $60 for 2 aftershaves, just to get the free shipping.
Tuesday, January 10 La Savonnière du Moulin~~Simpson D3~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Spoiler~~Burt's Bees Bay Rum Day 1 When this soap first made the scene, oh, it was so unique. Donkey Milk! Wowsers! Now we have unicorn, giraffe, civet, really, if it's a milk, somewhere, someone is shaving with it. This is great soap, and this challenge should be less tedious than...you know what! Here is some info on the soap: Extremely slick and protective with a wonderful post shave.
I have goats. I wonder if they would make good shave soap? Is there even a word for goat fat? We got tallow and lard... Oh. Milk. That's not as fun. I really don't like goats.
I'm sure you could, but goats being in the same family as deer are rather lean. I grew up on my Mom and Dad's farm ...... proportionally chickens have more fat than goats (I've butchered both).
