I too love my WD silvertip. I will need some more practice to utilize it to its fullest .

I just received my first WD brush,a 24mm high mountain white. Terrific brush for the money, no doubt.

I have a 30 mm Synthetic in burgundy coming from Larry as we speak. He gave great advice and I am excited to see the finished product. I have to blame Gary for me purchasing one all due to this thread peaking my interest. Now I just need to find a rack with large enough holes to hang it from. Off to the basement I go. Anyone seen my hole saws?

I agree,i have silvertips and black badgers from WD
Too soft and the only way is to toss the knot deeper.
In other silvertips as TGN doesn't happen the same, the work as they are.

Nice looking brushes. I enjoy my WD silver tip, and Larry was extremely helpful when purchasing. I plan on acquiring more WD brushes.

I just received my second silver tip from larry. The first was a 24mm which was a few months ago and is extremely soft but does hog lather. Yesterday i received my second from him which is also a 24mm but drilled an extra 10mm deep to prevent. Used today definitely seems like i get more lather with it can't wait to see how it turns out post bloom. Love them both!!!
