It was at 20 bucks until 5 min left or so. Just 5 random antique razors... Thought I had hit the jackpot.

Still probably a solid deal even what it finished for but too rich for my blood.

At twenty bucks for the lot, a great deal. At twenty bucks each after a little cleaning and polish you might have recouped your investment reselling them. Plenty more fish in the sea!

Is that not a very nice president in the group?

The open comb I wasn't sure about but its either a new improved or an aristocrat.

I was thinking that silver might be the attraction.

Thats why I didn't continue to bid, but an aristocrat and a president for under 100 bucks. Not a bad deal.

It was a President and a New Improved. I was bidding, but I didn't win it either. Id say the buyer got a pretty good deal, The President alone was worth about 80% of the final sale price.

This is true. Less than a hundred bucks for this assortment isn't outrageous, and as mentioned above, a buyer can easily recoup by flipping a few.
eBay razor lots can be very good investments providing one doesn't overpay.
This ragged group of SRs below cost me $50 on eBay, but I cleaned & sold one of them for nearly 6x the purchase price of the whole set.
I look at the DE group in this thread and see at least two or three sellables to recoup the initial investment.

I'm too cheap for that, but everyone has their price. Great looking to say the least.
